About the role

Core Responsibilities - Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an enterprise-wide QA and test automation strategy aligned with the company’s product roadmap and compliance requirements.Automation & Engineering: Design scalable testing frameworks across UI, API, and performance layers, while integrating quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.Compliance & Governance: Ensure all testing aligns with industry-specific regulations (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, or banking standards) and establish strict risk-based testing protocols.Talent & Culture: Build and mentor high-performing QA teams, fostering a "shift-left" quality culture where development and testing teams collaborate seamlessly.Metrics & Analytics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs), build executive dashboards for release readiness, and conduct root cause analyses on defects.Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: Typically 14 to 18+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles (Director or VP level).Technical Depth: Deep understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured), cloud-native environments, and DevOps tools.Domain Knowledge: Specialized industry experience relevant to the company (e.g., HealthTech compliance, BFSI integration, or telecommunications).Soft Skills: Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive cross-functional organizational transformations.
