4_QA Automation Engineer (2–4 years),

About the role

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications while continuing to perform manual testing for new features and exploratory scenarios. You will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to ensure high-quality software is delivered through efficient automated testing practices. The ideal candidate has experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium, understands CI/CD pipelines, and is passionate about improving software quality through automation. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications. Create reusable automation frameworks following industry best practices. Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test suites. Perform API automation and validation. Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira or similar tools. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Review application requirements and provide testability feedback. Analyze automation failures and work with developers to resolve issues. Maintain test data and automation reports. Perform manual exploratory testing when required. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities. Continuously improve testing processes and automation coverage.
