2_Software QA Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test strategies for web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality software releases. The ideal candidate has experience in both manual testing and basic automation and is passionate about delivering reliable, user-friendly products. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing. Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities. Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases. Execute API testing and validate backend services. Contribute to automation test scripts for repetitive test scenarios. Ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Support production validation after deployments when required.
