Senior QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts across multiple web applications. You will be responsible for designing comprehensive test strategies, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Automation Engineers to improve product quality, reduce production defects, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manual and automation testing, API validation, and Agile software development. Responsibilities * Lead end-to-end testing activities for multiple product releases. Design comprehensive test strategies and test plans. Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios. Execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and exploratory testing. Identify, prioritize, document, and verify software defects. Review requirements and provide quality-focused feedback during sprint planning. Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions. Review automation scripts and contribute to automation initiatives. Perform API, database, and backend validation. Coordinate testing across cross-functional teams. Analyze production issues and recommend preventive measures. Improve QA processes, documentation, and quality metrics. Participate in release planning and production deployment validation.
