Performance Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Performance Test Engineer to evaluate and improve the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our web applications and APIs. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to identify performance bottlenecks and ensure applications meet business and customer expectations under varying workloads. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with performance testing tools, monitoring platforms, and analyzing application performance metrics. Responsibilities * Design and execute load, stress, spike, endurance, and volume tests. Develop reusable performance testing scripts. Analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks. Monitor CPU, memory, network, and database utilization during tests. Collaborate with developers to optimize application performance. Prepare detailed performance test reports and recommendations. Validate application scalability before production releases. Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor production performance trends and recommend improvements. Participate in release readiness activities.
