Test Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect to define and lead the organization's testing strategy and automation architecture. This role focuses on designing scalable testing frameworks, evaluating emerging technologies, establishing quality engineering standards, and driving innovation across multiple product lines. As a Test Architect, you will work closely with Engineering Directors, Software Architects, DevOps teams, and QA Leads to ensure testing practices align with business objectives and technical architecture. Responsibilities * Define enterprise-level Quality Engineering strategy. Design scalable automation architecture. Select testing tools, frameworks, and technologies. Establish organization-wide automation standards. Design testing approaches for distributed and microservices-based systems. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new testing technologies. Drive quality improvements across engineering teams. Create automation governance and coding standards. Optimize test execution infrastructure. Mentor QA Leads and Senior Automation Engineers. Collaborate with architects on system design for testability. Define quality metrics and engineering KPIs. Guide CI/CD and DevSecOps quality initiatives. Review enterprise-level testing strategies and architecture. Represent QA in technical leadership meetings.
